Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for a program?

Registration is simple. If the school your child attends is running a program, then you can register online on our home page by clicking on REGISTRATION. Please then follow the instructions. If your school is not running a program, please contact us so we can get one or more of our popular programs up and running at your school.

What is the dress code?

There is no specific dress code. We do recommend that your child wear comfortable sports clothing. Appropriate sport shoes or sneakers are required.

Is the program appropriate for all skill levels?

Our programs are appropriate for all skill levels, and physical abilities of kids 3 to 12 years of age.

How technical are the programs?

TenTen Kids Sports programs are active based and include many drills and exercises. Programs do have a technical element; however our emphasis is on engagement, movement, and enriching lives through participation.

Does my child need to bring any equipment from home?

No, TenTen Kids Sports provides all the equipment.

What if I’m not able to pick up my child at the end of the class?

Parents should aim to pick up their child on time. Our instructors have other commitments and classes to teach. We would NEVER leave a child unattended, but should they be picked up late, then parents can be expected to be charged for late pickup.

Can my child bring a snack?

Your child is able to bring a snack to a class as long as it abides by the school/community center /club allergy and snack policy. Snacks must be nut free.

What if my child forgets to come to a class?

For school lunch hour and after-school programs we strongly recommend that parents remind their children on the day of the program by sending a note to their teacher, making a note in their school agenda, or by pinning a note to their clothing.

TenTen Kids Sports coaches try their best to make sure every child attends every class. Announcements are made, and coaches, when permitted try to pick up the young children from their classrooms. However sometimes children do forget despite our best efforts. Unfortunately, no make-ups are permitted, and no credit will be given.

What if my child misses a class because they are away or ill?

Unfortunately if your child is unable to attend a class there will be no make up classes. If your child has a serious injury or illness please let us know.

Can I register if the program has already started?

Yes you can register for a program that has already started. We constantly keep in contact with schools to see if new registrations have come in.

Are there make up classes?

If a class is cancelled due to an unforeseen circumstance, we do everything in our power to run a makeup class. Outdoor classes cancelled due to weather are made up at the end of a session.

Do you run programs other than lunch hour and after school?

Yes we do. In addition to school programs we run programs at community centers, camps, sports clubs, and community parks. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more details.
